HVAC Bling ("we", "us") runs this app and is the data controller for the personal data described here. That means we decide how and why your data is used.

What we collect and why

• Account details (name, company, email, login credentials). Used to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.
• Content you upload (job names, addresses, photos, equipment and start-up readings, recipient emails you share with). Used to provide the Service. Legal basis: contract.
• Usage and device data (IP address, browser and device identifiers, logs). Used for security, fraud prevention and improving the Service. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Support messages. Used to help you. Legal basis: contract and legitimate interests.

Who we share it with

• Service providers who host and run the Service for us (hosting, database, storage, sign-in).
• Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for selling the product, managing subscriptions, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• People you choose to share a job with.
• Professional advisers (such as legal and accounting).
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

Some providers may process data outside your country; where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service or meet legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your data, object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to your local data protection authority. We respond to requests within one month.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and private photo storage.

Advertising

Free and signed-out visitors may see sponsor spots and ads served by Google. Paying subscribers do not see ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised ads at Google Ad Settings. Clicking a sponsor link takes you to that sponsor's own site, which has its own privacy policy.

Cookies

We use essential browser storage to keep you signed in. Visitors who see Google ads may also receive Google advertising cookies, as described above.
